The Temporary Library

The “Temporary Library” project relies on the concept of metaphorically breaking the classic boundaries of libraries. It means to bring publications in places where they’re not necessarily known, finally expanding and redefine in a contemporary sense, the public role of libraries.

This project is about creating a temporary small library of printed publications of Danish Media Art, which will be available during the whole exhibition. Publishers and individuals are currently asked to donate some publications, and a specific space will be dedicated to consult the library eventually having the opportunity to get in touch with the publishers through a leaflet with the list of donors’ contacts. After the exhibition, the publications will be donated to the LIBRARY, and will form a special collection, potentially being lent to other events in the future.
